With deep-rooted experience in the beauty industry as an artist, salon owner, product developer - furniture was something new and exciting to explore

Founders Courtney Buhler and Jordan Driessen met in 2020, and their mutually beneficial skills and backgrounds allowed them to design, create, patent, and produce the first ever ergonomically curved spa bed in the industry - The Edda.

The goal was to craft pieces that not only looked beautiful but also offered unparalleled comfort and durability while representing founders vision for their branding within their businesses. Our founders were passionate about local manufacturing, and a personal touch within the space.

With no formal training in the furniture world, they quickly assembled their in-house team utilizing artisan craftsman that had decades of experience in luxury furniture manufacturing. The team grew from four members to twelve within a year, producing up to one hundred hand-made beds per month.

The demand for Plush + Oak beds was explosive from the moment of launch, and within one year our team had manufactured and shipped over 1300 beds all throughout North America. As the reputation for excellence grew, so did the ambition to expand operations and introduce new, exciting designs into our range.

After careful consideration, a decision was made to expand our product range into new models after listening to customer feedback and requests for flat beds, and open storage underneath. The Charlie and Brynn Beds were launched to meet our customers requests.
